CSR Solar Street Program inauguration at Koppal, Karnataka, India

Promoting green energy for the village development, we have installed another 50 solar street- lights in 13 rural villages of Koppal, Karnataka.

Being located in major agricultural production region in Karnataka, farming is the primary occupation for the villagers. Due to unavailability of the street-lights, mobility during dusky hours were the major challenge for the community and also there were damages of crop production by wild animals. Through this CSR initiatives, community is benefited to act as a driver for social cohesion, strengthening the ties and interaction between individuals, while allowing them to carry on their social and recreational activities throughout the evening ensuring safety. Children are also utilizing it for their evening study hours and play.
