Successful International Open Days 2016 by Hazera and HM Clause Netherlands


From September 27th to September 29th, more than 800 vegetable professionals from all over the world came to visit the International Open Days held on a brand new demo field located near Warmenhuizen, in the province of North Holland in The Netherlands. They discovered the latest innovations in a complete range of open field vegetable varieties offered by seed companies Hazera and HM.CLAUSE. Among these innovations, HM.CLAUSE put the lights on its new brand Calebrini© and its varieties for the production of sprouting broccolis for fresh market and industry. Visitors also enjoyed delicious food freshly prepared on the spot using the vegetables that were on show in the demo field.

Visitors from 50 countries all over the world ranging from Albania to Zimbabwe got familiar with the latest varieties, introductions, trends and technologies in vegetable growing. Among them many growers and seed distributors, but also specialists from the entire fresh produce supply chain. They actively engaged into exchanges with Hazera’s and HM Clause’s crop experts. Highlights in the crops on show were cabbages, cauliflower, broccoli, onion, carrot, lettuce, sweet corn and corn salad, with pumpkins completing the season’s display.
