On November 3rd, CWA’s AgVenture 2017 closed out with presentations from Ag Leaders, including HM.CLAUSE’s Cecilia Chi-Ham, PhD, who gave a presentation of the role of science and technology in agricultural production.
AgVenture was created by the Lake County Chapter of the California Women for Agriculture. AgVenture is an agricultural educational program created for class members selected from the non-farming community leaders who want to gain understanding of the vital role that agriculture plays in Lake County.
Class members are selected yearly through an application process. Selection into the program is competitive and based on the applicant’s interest in the program, their professional contribution to the Lake County community, and their potential to help sustain the agricultural industry in Lake County.
